Our Story

Awesome food!!! Would def go back. Had chicken wings w/ soy garlic sauce, fries and collard greens. The greens had a wonderful kick to it. The fries had some Cajun seasoning(prob old bay) but damn was it yummy. Had cornbread too. They have their own hot sauce for sale too.

Great service and fresh food. The cornbread was HANDS DOWN MY FAVE!! 10/10 recommend! They have something for everyone. Liquor and rum punch as a beverage option. The Roll is a HIT!! They make homemade sauce as well! The chipotle mayo should be made in a bottle to go!! Nice crunch to the crab cake! Tacos have a nice flavour! So delicious! They have daily specials! Clean bathroom, and seating area both inside and out!

Lady owned and operated for 11+ years. The food is incredible! If you want healthy options like fresh crab or shrimp bc you're doing a keto/gluten-free thing, or maybe you want a taco or some lobster Mac and cheese.... chowder.... a salad...or a lobster roll... or a lobster + crab roll.... or a chicken + rice bowl.... or a maybe you're just interested in their tasty frozen beverages.....there is something for you. They also have great hot sauce that you can buy. Can't recommend enough.

How two Brooklyn moms built a crab house

The Crabby Shack started with a craving, a conversation, and zero crab spots in New York. Eleven years later, Crown Heights hasn't been the same since.
